We like to play with the textures, colours and flavours of the Canary Islands, presenting our dishes in a creative and original way, so that our visitors can discover a different gastronomic alternative.


Demian Zambrana


Demian Zambrana (Mexico City, 1981); after working in Mexico and Canada, he arrived in Europe in 2003 with the desire to discover other cultures, he has worked in Valencia, Barcelona, Menorca, Formentera, Tenerife, London (Savoy 1 Michelin star, Gordon Ramsay) and in 2007 he landed in Fuerteventura to stay. After 8 years working with the gastronomy of Fuerteventura he decided to open his own gastronomic project, and put his years of experience into practice in La Jaira de Demian Gastrobar.



Demian and his great team of professionals are passionate about art and good food, and at La Jaira diners are encouraged to share dishes and experiences in a relaxed atmosphere. In the indoor dining room you can enjoy the artwork of local artists, and on the private terrace, you can enjoy the large space and a Canarian garden.

  • Buenísimo éste restaurante, cada plato fue una experiencia de sabor y textura. Es difícil decidir cual plato eligir, todo está tan rico. Los camareros y el jefe son muy amables y atentos.
  • Restaurante muy recomendable de Puerto. Ambiente elegante y sencillo, con un servicio muy atento y simpatico. La comida, aunque con pocas variaciones con el paso de los años, es un acierto sobre cualquier eleccion de la carta.
